Argan oil is derived from the argan tree, endemic to Morocco and found mainly in Souss and neighboring regions. It is rich in vitamin E and antioxidants, and is also used for its cosmetic properties. Composition: The oil contains between 0.34 and 0.79% unsaponifiable matter. Argan oil contains 43% oleic acid (omega-9), 36% linoleic acid (omega-6), and the remainder is their respective monoglyceric form.
